In the wine school you can assign to different courses. First is introduction or express course, where you as a beginner will get acquainted with the world of wine. The main types of wines are understood during the workshop using four samples as examples. During the seminar, students determine for themselves the simplest knowledge about wine. (What are the wines, how to buy, how to store, etc.) 

Next course is for people, who want to know better basics of the wine culture. Students get acquainted with the main international grape varieties, superficially study production technologies and other factors affecting the taste of wine, and also gain basic knowledge of the basics of professional tasting and wine quality assessment. All this goes through the example of more than 20 wine samples.

The advanced course is for students, who want to seriously study the main wine regions of France and their grape varieties, as well as similar styles in the world. The professional degustation is considered at a deeper level. Separately, the first acquaintance with the basics of gastronomic combinations and serving of wine takes place. Over 60 sample wines including premium segment wines accompany advanced course’s workshops.

The last, but not least course is for people, who want professionally study, the wine culture. During the course, students get acquainted with all countries that are interesting in gastronomic terms. There is a complete study of all regions of the world and their specialists. In addition, disciplines such as world strong drinks, beer, sake, coffee, tea and more are studied. All this happens against the backdrop of a detailed in-depth professional tasting of more than 300 samples.

The wine school conducts many one-time lectures, master classes and events on topics such as:

  • Strong drinks (whiskey, cognac, calvados, brandy, distillates, etc.);
  • Beer;

  • Soft drinks - coffee, tea, etc.;

  • The rules of gastronomic combinations;

In Kazakhstan there is also a gathering of grapes for the wine. However, but there is no viticulture on the territory of the capital city, but there is one dilapidated vineyard in the foothills of the Tian Shan Mountains in southeastern Kazakhstan. Vineyard plantations have crept back up to about 15,000 hectares. Before the anti-alcohol campaign during the late Soviet era, Kazakhstan had about 27,000 hectares of vineyards.
